UPDATE FOR SATURDAY CLASS

I am so proud to be part of this awesome CrossFit community.  In 2 days the community has raised over $100000 to help aid in Kevin’s hospital bills and recovery.  This is AMAZING and one of the reasons CrossFit is so special.  MHCF is going to do their part and host a Kevin Ogar fundraiser WOD on Saturday from 9-11 (nominally heats at 930, 1000 and 1030 but we’ll stay longer if needed). If you can make it for the WOD that would be great. If you can’t make that time, FRCF is putting on a similar event at Noon at their box (http://frontrangecrossfit.typepad.com/front_range_crossfit/2014/01/kevin-ogar.html). There are also lots of other boxes around the city which will be holding similar events if you can’t make MHCFs or FRCFs. Let us know if you need more details and we’ll try and find one for you 🙂  They should be posting full details of the fundraiser information on kevinogar.com so you can check there.  We will also share posts on Facebook as we get them.

For the Ogar WOD this Saturday, MHCF will make a $1 donation for every round of the WOD complete on Saturday (at our gym), up to $500. Here’s the WOD
As many reps in 14 minutes of:
3 touch and go snatches, heavy
1 muscle-up
12 wall ball shots, 20 lbs (14 lbs)

Snatch – you choose their own weight
Muscle Up mod – 2 Bar MUs, 3 pull ups/3 dips

Wall ball – scale as necessary

We’ll have the computer set up to the Kevin Ogar fundraiser page so people can make additional donations on site if they choose, there is no requirement for a donation if you wish to compete. One idea might be to donate $1 for every rep that you complete, or of course make a flat donation.
