Announcements!!

First – We have instituted a Brag Board so you can tell everyone about your PRs, accomplishments, firsts, etc.  Did you get your first bandless pull up, Brag about it!  Did you get a PR on Push Jerk….Brag about it!  Did you lose weight or fit into a smaller size…you get the idea!  Don’t be bashful, be proud of those accomplishments!

Second – Burpee Challenge/Competition, with a twist!  Jenna’s hubby Chris is in the Navy and is close to completing his tour out in the Middle East.  Since she doesn’t know exactly when he will be returning (likely before Christmas) we are going to do a Burpee Count Up.  We will have a 4 day buy in (starting from Nov 1st) it will work like this: Today, 10 burpees to catch up, Friday 5 burpees, Saturday 6 burpees, Sunday 7 burpees etc. til Chris comes home to CO.  Yes you must do them on Sundays when Mile High CrossFit is closed. If you don’t get started until Friday or Saturday don’t worry, you can always catch up.

What is the competition?  Guess how many days of burpees we will be doing.  If you think Chris will be back in 1 week, we’ll do 7 days of burpees.  Whoever guesses closest to his actual return date will get the opportunity to plan a workout that all of Mile High CrossFit will have to do, including the TRAINERS!!!  You can pick a Benchmark, Hero or Crossfit Main Site workout.  We will use part of the Brag Board to record everyone’s guesses.  Chances to guess close next Tuesday Nov 9th. In order to ‘win’ you must partake in the burpees as well.  This will be on the honor system.  See one of the trainers for more details.

* Please keep in mind these burpees are in addition to any burpees in the regular warm up, workout or cool down.
