Did ya’ all hear that our very own SHARA came in 1st in the Olympic Lifting Meet at Alpine CrossFit this past Saturday!? Isn’t that awesome? CONGRATULATIONS to Shara and to all those who competed. I am sure we could all learn a thing or two about our Olympic lifts from Shara and several others from our box. If you are unsure of how to do Clean and Jerks or Snatch, we are available to help you with your form. It is also very helpful to watch videos from the main CrossFit site or from YouTube. We (notice I do say “we”) are not going to improve without practice, practice, practice. So when it seems that we are doing moves with redundancy that is because we cannot learn a move by doing it one day per week. I know it can be frustrating when you don’t “like” a move or are not adept at it (trust me, I know) but everything becomes more “fun” the better we get. So don’t be afraid of trying something new, jump in, ask for help and next time, you just might like that WOD with the Oly lift.
Today’s WOD will provide a lot of “fun” with Thrusters and Burpees and Double Unders! Who could be programming this week?
